Questions and answers
Everything people askbefore starting
We collected the questions that come up on almost every consultation. We answer them here the way we would in person: without vague wording.
ONLINE GROUP and Offline Mini-Group run for 6 weeks: 6 classes of about 1.5 hours. The online group meets Wednesdays at 19:00, the in-person group in Chișinău meets Fridays at 19:00. Pro Mentorship takes about a month on average: 10 video lessons plus 8 one-on-one sessions of 60 minutes, with the pace adjusted to your schedule.
Yes — the programme is built from zero: from how the US freight market works and the basic terms all the way to practice. You do not need logistics experience. You need the willingness to learn and to do the homework.
Yes. They are names for one job: a person in Moldova runs the commercial side of an American truck — finds the load on a board, agrees the rate with the broker and takes the trip through to payment. The directions inside the job differ: Car Hauling moves vehicles, General Freight moves general cargo. Every term is explained in the glossary on this site.
The group formats — ONLINE GROUP and Offline Mini-Group — are taught in Russian: the teacher explains in Romanian when needed, but the materials and the group discussion are in Russian. Pro Mentorship can be run entirely in Romanian — we agree the language before the start. Video lessons and study materials are in Russian in every format.
Working English, not perfect English. A dispatcher needs to understand documents, routes and typical conversations — you do not need to sound like a native speaker. On the course we give you ready scripts for broker calls and work on pronunciation. Honestly: if you are not willing to improve your English at all, it will be hard — and we will tell you that on the consultation. If you have no English at all, there is a separate English course for American logistics: 8 one-on-one sessions, explained in Romanian."
Practice is how the course is built, not a separate block. In class the instructor demonstrates on a live board and in a broker call, then everyone tries it themselves with the instructor present. Then comes a week of practice: a substantial assignment on the academy's working accounts under the instructor's supervision (Super Dispatch and Central Dispatch on Car Hauling, DAT and Truckstop on General Freight) — finding loads for a specific truck, calling brokers, handling the Rate Confirmation and BOL, calculating rates. The next class opens with a review of every student's assignment. Six such cycles — five weeks of real work on the boards by graduation; in mentorship the same cycle runs between one-on-one sessions.
There are 6 live classes of about 1.5 hours each — around 9 hours with the instructor in total. But that is not the whole course. Between classes there is a week of practice on the academy’s working accounts: you search for loads and price trips yourself, so by graduation you have 5 weeks of real work on the load boards behind you. Add homework with feedback, an exam before the certificate and a month of mentoring after graduation — questions about your first loads go to the instructor. Compare not the hours in class but how much you get to do with your own hands.
10 video lessons that stay yours forever, 8 one-on-one sessions of 60 minutes with the mentor (theory + practice), negotiation scripts, document templates, a dispatcher's Excel tools, homework with detailed feedback, a final exam and a certificate, help with your CV and with the next steps. The price is €399.
The programme is essentially the same; there are three formats. ONLINE GROUP — live online classes Wednesdays at 19:00, up to 10 people, from anywhere (€199). The in-person group — a classroom in Chișinău Fridays at 19:00, up to 8 people, a live atmosphere (€299). Mentorship is one-on-one online, with a flexible schedule and full attention to your own mistakes (€399). The General Freight direction offers the same choice: a Chișinău classroom (€399) or one-on-one online sessions (€499).
Yes, on three levels. First: a month of mentoring after graduation in every format — you go through your first loads, calls and paperwork with the instructor in the chat. Second: we work with trucking companies and, when employers are interested, we refer our students to them. Third — in any case: you are taught by a working specialist who shows you where to look for work, helps you put a CV together, prepares you for interviews, and in the last lesson you search for real openings together.
Nobody gives guarantees, and anyone who does is not worth trusting. But here is the fact: more than 80% of our graduates start working within the first weeks after the course. We do our part — the foundation, the practice, the materials, the CV, the interview preparation and the referral to our partners. After that it depends on your practice, your English and how your interviews go.
Offline Mini-Group — in the academy's classroom: Bd. Decebal 6, 4th floor, Totem CoWorking, Chișinău. ONLINE GROUP — live online classes in the group's closed room, from anywhere. Pro Mentorship — online, one-on-one with the mentor.
A Freight Path Academy certificate for the direction you completed — Car Hauling Dispatcher or General Freight Dispatcher. It is not issued for having paid, but after completed homework and the final exam — so it confirms the practice you went through. It is an academy document, not a US state licence: employers look at your skills and at the interview, and the certificate helps show that the training was really completed.
It is a 15–20 minute conversation in whichever messenger suits you. We go through your situation and your goal, assess your English, explain the profession and the formats, answer your questions and tell you honestly whether this path fits you. Nobody will push you to pay.
The price is fixed: €199 for the online group, €299 for the in-person group, €399 for the one-on-one format, €399 for the General Freight classroom and €499 for General Freight one-on-one. The online group is paid in one payment; the other formats can be paid in full or split in two: the first part at the start of the course, the second mid-course. We go through all the terms on the consultation, before any payment.
Payment is non-refundable — the public offer says so directly. The reason is simple: once you pay, your seat in the group is taken off sale, and in the one-on-one format the instructor’s time is reserved for you. That is why money is the last step: first a free consultation, then the contract, and only then payment. In doubt? Visit the classroom in Chișinău before paying or ask everything at the consultation. If classes cannot take place through our fault, we will offer a transfer to another intake or refund the payment minus what you have already completed.
Within one business day the academy's manager will call you: we confirm the request, answer your questions and agree on a time for the consultation. No automated mailing lists.
Yes, that is exactly what the consultation is for. If after the conversation you decide dispatch is not for you — that is a normal outcome too. Better to understand that before paying than after.
